Privacy Policy
Translations are provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Simplified Chinese version is authoritative.
This extension helps you discover, preview and save media you are authorized to download. The current version has no account system, no fees, no advertising, no analytics and no developer server.
Data processed on your device
The extension observes media requests and responses on pages you visit, reading the page address, title, media address, media type, file size, thumbnail, duration and dimensions in order to display the media list. Addresses may contain temporary signatures provided by the website.
Candidate lists and task information are stored in the browser's session storage. Navigating away from or closing a page clears that page's candidates; session data is cleared when the browser session ends.
Download history (media address, page address, title, filename, download time and directory information) and download settings are stored in the extension's local storage. When writing a record, the media address is stripped of its query string, fragment and any user credentials in the URL, but the media address and page address themselves are persisted in order to determine whether the same media has already been downloaded. Download history keeps at most 1000 records. Custom directory handles are stored in local IndexedDB.
The extension reads browser download records to determine file status, and opens downloaded files when you click play. Temporary media data may be stored in the browser's private file system for previewing, remuxing and saving.
This data stays on your device. It is not uploaded to developer servers and is not sold or shared with third parties.
Network access and third-party sites
The extension requests playlists, thumbnails, segments and AES-128 keys that the playlist
normally provides, directly from the site hosting the media. These requests are sent by the
browser in the ordinary way and will carry the cookies the browser would normally
send to that site (requests from the offscreen document use
credentials: "include"). The extension does not use the cookies API to read,
export or store cookies, and does not send cookies to anyone else.
Those sites may receive ordinary request information such as your IP address, and their own privacy policies apply. Media, browsing history and download history are not uploaded to developer servers and are not sold, shared with advertisers or used for personalized advertising.
All JavaScript and WebAssembly processing code is bundled with the extension; remuxing and decryption happen locally on your machine.
Your control
You initiate downloads, previews and playback yourself. You can stop a download, clear the current list, change or reset the download folder in settings, and adjust site access in the browser's extension settings.
Clearing the current list removes finished download task records for that page, but does not delete persistent download history and does not delete saved media files. Uninstalling the extension removes its local extension data; browser download history and saved files must be removed by you in the browser or file system.
This extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data is used only for the user-facing features described here.
